The Maserati GranCabrio Folgore has finally been revealed, and in news that’ll surprise few, it’s gorgeous. There are very few four-seat all-electric convertibles on the market right now, allowing Maser the chance to get there first before contenders like the Bentley EXP 12 Speed 6e or the Genesis X Convertible arrive.
Design-wise, it’s...like an electric version of the recently announced GranCabrio Trofeo, though there are a few key differences including a now slated grille and a wind deflector behind the rear seat passengers. It’ll also continue to offer the headline bronzed copper finish.Drive is provided by the same tri-motor setup as the GranTurismo Folgore, which means around 750hp and 1,349Nm of torque sent to all four wheels, albeit now dealing with an added 80kog. That’s then paired with a 92.
Aside from the GranCabrio, Maserati has reconfirmed that the all-electric MC20 will also arrive at some point next year as it ramps up its goals to become a completely all-electric brand. With a gorgeous convertible at its heart.PHOTO BY MaseratiNOTE: This article first appeared on TopGear.com. Minor edits have been made.
