MANILA, Philippines: President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. earlier this week met with former United Kingdom prime minister Tony Blair, Malacañang said.Their meeting last Wednesday, April 17, was their third overall, the first two being on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York and in the Palace in Manila, both in 2022.In a social media post, Marcos said he was 'looking forward to further collaboration with the Tony Blair Institute.
'Their earlier sitdowns touched on the Philippines' peace-building efforts in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim in Mindanao , as well as ensuring the country's food security and ways of mitigating the effects of climate change.
