The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority started yesterday the implementation of the ban on electric tricycles and e-bicycles from using major thoroughfares in the National Capital Region.

Members of the Manila Traffic and Parking Bureau issue violation tickets to drivers of electric tricycles who were flagged for using national roads yesterday.MANILA, Philippines — The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority started yesterday the implementation of the ban on electric tricycles and e-bicycles from using major thoroughfares in the National Capital Region.Acting MMDA Chairman Romando Artes said the agency would begin issuing traffic violation tickets tomorrow.

Under the regulation, tricycles, e-trikes and e-bikes are prohibited from traversing national, circumferential and radial roads in Metro Manila. Local terrorists on Sunday killed in an ambush in Shariff Aguak, Maguindanao del Sur four members of the Moro Islamic Liberation... A retired judge died while seven others were injured in a vehicular accident in Cagayan de Oro City on Sunday.
