Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) is offering a full refund to passengers who were stranded for more than four hours on the Electric Train Service (ETS) yesterday evening. The train experienced technical issues during its journey from Kuala Lumpur to Butterworth, Penang. KTMB is currently investigating the cause of the incident, which occurred between the Kamunting and Bukit Merah routes in Perak. Passengers who did not continue their journey can apply for a full refund by contacting the provided email address.

“Kesulitan ini amat dikesali dan penumpang yang tidak meneruskan perjalanan, boleh mendapatkan pemulangan tambang penuh. Mereka diminta menghantar permohonan ke emel: . “Namun, kru tren bertugas sudah mengambil langkah membuat pengumuman di setiap gerabak bagi menyampaikan maklumat berkenaan situasi yang berlaku, selain KTMB menghantar khidmat pesanan ringkas kepada penumpang yang terkesan sebagai pemakluman,” katanya.
