- Canadian oil and gas pipeline firm TC Energy said on Wednesday it has laid off some of its workers as part of a previously announced plan to integrate its natural gas pipeline units.

TC Energy is undergoing an overhaul and had said last year it would spin off its liquids business to focus on transporting natural gas. In January, rival Enbridge had said it would lay off 650 individuals. CALGARY — Tourmaline Oil Corp. says it earned $700.2 million in the last quarter of 2023, up from a loss of $30.4 million a year earlier. The Calgary-based company says revenues were $1.7 billion, down from $2.2 billion in the fourth quarter of 2022. Diluted earnings per share were $2.00, up from a loss of nine cents per share a year earlier.
