A potent area of low pressure will bring significant snowfall to much of southern and southeast Labrador from late tonight through late Wednesday. Ahead of this system, the Environment and Climate Change Canada Weather Office in Gander has issued Winter Storm and Snowfall Warnings for southeast Labrador.

Conditions will vary from wet snow at the coast, to rapidly accumulating snow with poor visibilities in blowing snow inland and over higher terrain.Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.Winter storm warnings are issued when multiple types of severe winter weather are expected to occur together.
