A Nigerian newspaper and Online version of the Vanguard, a daily publication in Nigeria covering Nigeria news, Niger delta, general national news, politics, business, energy, sports, entertainment, fashion, lifestyle human interest stories, etc

A support group of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC, the Progressive League of Youth Voters, has dragged the Deputy Speaker, House of Representatives, Hon. Benjamin Kalu to President Bola Tinubu and APC national chairman, Dr Abdullahi Ganduje over alleged anti-party activities.

Shuaibu said; “The most recent is the sponsored Campaign of calumny against Hon. Nkeiruka Onyejeocha who flew the party’s flag in Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency of Abia State in the February 25, 2023 National Assembly elections. She is at present the Minister of Labour and Employment Federal Republic of Nigeria.

“We make bold to say, that we have identified the deputy speaker of the House of Representatives Mr. Benjamin Kalu, who sees the victory of the Honourable Minister as a political threat instead of a blessing as the sponsor of the blackmail against Hon. Nkeiruka Onyejeocha. “We know how some highly placed persons who are the major beneficiaries of the APC worked against the party in the last Presidential elections in the guise of religion and tribal sentiments, thereby reducing the winning votes of our great Party.“We recommend a disciplinary action against the deputy speaker, Mr Benjamin Kalu and his accomplices to serve as a deterrent to others who may wish to indulge in such dangerous anti-party activities in the nearest future.
