An independent report commissioned by the Alberta Energy Regulator says the body did nothing wrong in not alerting the nearby Athabasca Chipewyan First Nation that a tailings pond leaked industrial wastewater containing arsenic, dissolved iron and sulphate upstream from its water supply.
