A surge in Tesla Model 3 deliveries eligible for Canada’s $5,000 electric vehicle rebate helped propel the federal Incentives for Zero-Emission Vehicles (iZEV) program to another monthly record in June.

The U.S.-based EV maker shipped 4,096 qualifying Model 3s to Canadian customers during the month, accounting for nearly a third of eligible ZEVs delivered.

Qualifying deliveries totaled 12,765, the third new monthly record for the iZEV program set this year.
