New 2024 Mini Cooper Electric opens up – first official look at digital-first cabin

This first official photograph above reveals the interior of the new Mini Cooper Electric, ahead of its world debut at the IAA German car show in September. You’ll have to wait a few more weeks to see the exterior of the 2024 Mini family, but you can scroll down this page to see revealing spy photographs showing the car completely undisguised.

Mini showcased part of its new infotainment system at the Shanghai motor show this spring: the British bulldog motif is being used in China to emphasise the brand’s Britishness – but ignore the canine fluff and this is our first sight of how the centrally mounted dial will spawn a new digital touchpoint for owners, who can run nav, apps and heating systems from the prominent round screen on the dashboard.
