Across Canada, it was five per cent. But in Ontario, the number was a pitiful three per cent — which is behind even the Yukon.

But electric vehicles don’t solve the one critical problem of cities today. Congestion. Replacing all t he gas-powered cars with EVs can’t address that. To have enough density we must find other modes to get around t he city.

Electric cars have a larger carbon footprint and environmental impact than conventional vehicles. Not to mention they are prohibitively expensive.
