The program, developed in partnership between the U.S. Department of Energy and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, will be available in Illinois, Washington D.C., and New Mexico. By connecting LIHEAP-eligible households with community solar subscriptions, the program aims to lower energy bills, increase access to clean energy, and support President Biden's clean energy and Justice40 goals.
