Glencore's Astron Energy inks a 10-year extension of its FreshStop partnership

Astron Energy has struck a new 10-year partnership extension with FreshStop at its forecourts to continue a relationship that began in 2009 when the retail brand was first rolled out at Caltex stations.

Astron, which is 72% owned by Glencore, said in a statement on Monday that its deal with FreshStop, which forms part of the Food Lover's Market group of companies, will see the retailer continuing its"15-year journey" at its sites. Currently, more than 330 of the service stations feature a FreshStop, which also houses other Food Lover's brands such as Seattle Coffee Company.South Africans need to be in the know if we want to create a prosperous future.
