Lamborghini's most popular model is getting a new plug-in hybrid version with the announcement of the 2025 Urus SE performance SUV.The Urus SE adds a 189-hp electric motor to the transmission, pairing with the twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8 to produce a combined 789 horsepower. Car and Driver estimates the battery located under the SE's floor has a usable 21.8 kilowatt-hours, meaning it should be able to travel in EV-only mode for roughly 30 miles.
In any event, the SE churns out a combined 789 horsepower and 701 pound-feet of torque, thundering from zero to 62 mph in a claimed 3.4 seconds. That makes the SE 0.1 seconds faster than the standard Urus S, though it loses out to the Urus Performante by the same margin. The SE should be capable of traveling just over 30 miles in electric-only mode, thanks to a battery tucked under the floor that Car and Driver estimates to be 21.8 kWh.
