The city of San Antonio, its airport system, CPS Energy and UTSA signed an agreement with the Department of Energy to make aviation more sustainable.

The city of San Antonio, the city’s airport system, CPS Energy and the University of Texas at San Antonio have teamed with the U.S. Department of Energy to study how to make aviation more sustainable with technology and alternative fuel sources. Leaders from the local agencies signed a memorandum of understanding with the DOE’s Advanced Projects Agency-Energy, known as ARPA-E, during an event Wednesday at Stinson Municipal Airport.
