Barbara Boswell helped launch the Clean Energy Alliance; will assist in finding a successor.

, the community energy program based in North County, is looking for a new chief executive officer.

By the time the expansion is complete, the Clean Energy Alliance will be the 10th largest community energy program in California. With that growth, Boswell said the alliance needs a CEO based in the San Diego region.

Oceanside and Vista are scheduled to join in April 2024, which will grow CEA’s enrollment to 220,000 accounts.David Druker, CEA’s chair and Del Mar City Council member Known for her professionalism and pleasant demeanor, Boswell also helped launch what was then known as the Solana Energy Alliance, the precursor to CEA, in 2017.Kristi Becker, member of the Solana Beach City CouncilBoswell will stay on until a new CEO is hired and will give the board input during the hiring process.of La Palma will be paid $32,000 and hopes to have a candidate before the board by the end of September.
