Fortescue Metals Chairman Andrew Forrest says Australia could be a “really big winner” when it comes to investing in green hydrogen, following the government’s announcement of a $2 billion Hydrogen Headstart program.

“I think this is Australia’s shot to create a Saudi Aramco, to create an economy the size of Saudi Arabia as just one of the strings to our bow,” Mr Forrest told Sky News Australia.
