Climate Change and Energy Minister Chris Bowen accused Nationals leader David Littleproud of starting a “culture war” after a question regarding the government’s energy policy.

Mr Littleproud asked how many private properties would be impacted by the construction of the 28,000 kilometres in new poles and wires during Question Time on Thursday.

“If this is the hill he chooses to die on, that’s a matter for him,” Mr Bowen said in reply to Mr Littleproud.

With the impending national disasters due to climate change why are they using poles and not going underground? It would be storm and fire proof.

“Culture war” is the new scary phrase now that the usual epithets have lost their sting due to overuse.

Can someone ask him why he is right and every other nation on the planet is wrong with their energy mix

How dramatic Chris.

This is the clown world that Bowenchris lives in.

Bowenchris is the one starting the energy poverty war. He is so arrogant to pass judgement on anyone who dares ask a question about his suicidal energy policies.

I hate this twerp.
