Western Australia Opposition Leader Zak Kirkup unveiled the bold new energy policy in the last few weeks leading up to the March 13 state election. Premier Mark McGowan responded by saying the timeframe put on the policy is unachievable. "Suddenly the Liberal Party, that for 10 years has fought any action on climate, any action on renewables, any action on hydrogen, suddenly releases a policy embracing all of them - they cannot be believed," Mr McGowan said.
