If we had to pick a theme for Zendaya’s Challengers press tour, we’d go with “glitzy prep.” While promoting her new sports film, which hits theaters in the U.S. on April 26, the Emmy-winning actor and her stylist, Law Roach, have been putting together even more winning ensembles that continue their streak of “method dressing,” by winking to the sport at the center of the film while adding their own dose of glamour.
Zendaya accessorized with a few bangle bracelets and silver interlocking circle stud earrings. But her shoes were the real prize. Over at Loewe, we’ve seen creative director Jonathan Anderson make heels out of balloons, roses, nail polish bottles, cracked eggs, and more. Today, he added a new object to that list: tennis balls. The designer crafted a custom pair of pointy cotton-colored heels with fluorescent tennis balls skewered onto the stilettos for Zendaya’s latest look.
