MANILA, Philippines — The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority and the Manila city government yesterday reminded users of electric bicycles and tricycles , pushcarts, pedicabs, kuliglig and other light electric vehicles that they are banned from using certain major roads starting next week.The aforementioned light vehicles will be restricted from using roads under their watch such as Recto Avenue, Quirino Avenue, Araneta Avenue, Epifanio delos Santos Avenue, Katipunan/C.P.
The Manila Public Information Office made a similar announcement, highlighting the roads in the city also covered by the ban like Recto Avenue, Quirino Avenue, Roxas Boulevard, Taft Avenue, Osmeña Highway, Magsaysay Boulevard, Aurora Boulevard, Rizal Avenue, Delpan Street and España Boulevard.
